The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) issued their long-anticipated summary report in February this year. The summary describes the existence of global warming as "unequivocal".

I can understand the frustrations some of you feel when facing an issue they think they may have no control over. However, the only way of making things not worse is for each and every one of us to act and do our bit to cut down on CO2 emissions. A single action won't make the difference but our concerted efforts are something else altogether.

I agree with miker to an extend that the permanent terrorism alert, NHS scares and fear of pregnant illegal asylum seekers infecting people with breast cancer while eating swans is grating and rather unnecessary but global warming really is one thing we should take serious right now.

Remember, no peer reviewed scientific paper written by a credible scientist and expert on climate has ever said that the disruption to weather and global warming was not caused by human factors.
